- No late fees, service fees, prepayment fees, hidden fees, or surprises ever!
What Should I Expect During Check-Out?
1. Customer Initiates Check-Out:
- Select Affirm at checkout on our site.
- Customer will be re-directed to an Affirm modal or pop-up.
- Enter phone # to receive a text with a pin to create or sign into Affirm account.
2. Customer Creates Affirm Account and Fills Out Application:
Affirm customers must: Be a resident of the U.S. (including U.S. territories) Be at least 18 years old (19 if you’re a ward of the state in Nebraska) Have a Social Security number Own a phone number that receives SMS and is registered to the United States or U.S. territories.
A. Enter the following personally identifiable information to create account:
- First and Last Name
- Phone Number
- Email Address
B. Enter the following to check for eligibility for an Affirm loan:
- Last 4 Digits of SSN
- Date of Birth
C. Customer will receive a confirmation screen.
3. Customer Receives Loan Terms:
- If approved, the customer will receive loan terms and pick a payment plan.
- Customer will confirm payment plan.
- Customer will complete purchase.
4. Order Confirmation:
- Customer will receive a confirmation of Affirm purchase.
- Customer will also receive an order confirmation screen for order.
